How did you get your start in modeling?
I actually went to a casting call for Playboy special editions. I had never done any type of modeling before that. Two weeks later, I got a phone call to be on the cover of a College Girls issue, and it's just taken off from there.

What was it like posing nude for the first time?
Luckily the way I felt wasn't too uncomfortable because the photographer they used for my first shoot was the same photographer I shot with at the casting. So since I already met him, it took the edge off a little and it wasn't too bad.

When did that issue come out?
It was the College Girls special edition of Spring 2004.

I did the cover of the 100th issue of the Book of Lingerie, and I've appeared in 10 other books, including Playboy's Vixens and Nude College Girls.

Have you always wanted to be a model?
I can't say I've always wanted to be a model. I was literally sitting in class that one day in college when I read that ad for a casting call. So it basically all started right there.

Tell us a little about where you grew up.
I grew up in Chicago, right in the city, Lincoln Park. Lots of different cultures, different food, so it was a really great experience growing up in a city.

So you live in Los Angeles now?
Yes, I've been here almost a year now. I love it here. The weather is fabulous and it's great for work, so no complaints.

What kind of girl were you in high school?
I actually partied more in high school than I do now. I work and do my thing now, but back in high school I was drinking every weekend and going to bars. I was crazy, I don't know how I did it!

What would you be doing right now if you weren't modeling?
I graduated with a degree in communications, so I'd probably be in a stuffy office right now working a boring 9 to 5 job.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to shop, like all girls do. I like to go to the beach and lay out and do a lot of relaxing.

What's your favorite and least favorite part of your body?
Least favorite is that I'm short. I'm only 5 feet, so I think I could use a couple more inches. My favorite part I would say is my skin. I've always had a tan, so I like that.

What's your biggest turn-on?
My biggest turn-on is nice eyes on a guy.

What kind of guys do you go for?
I like guys that are tall, with dark features and light eyes. I also like guys that are confident in themselves. Even if they don't have a lot, as long as they're confident, that's a turn on.

My name is Mercades Terrell and I'm from Yorba Linda, CA which is in Orange County.

What's your ethnic background?
I'm Sicilian and Mexican.

How did you get started in modeling?
I kinda fell into it. I met someone at a club that was working for a clothing company, and they asked me to work for them. The clothing was import car related and it led me into the industry.

Have you always wanted to be a model?
Honestly, when I was younger, I never really thought about it. I was more into the other end of it like designing clothes and having my own fashion line. But it's fun to be on the other side as well.

What are your biggest accomplishments in modeling so far?
I've been on the cover of some magazines, and I'm also "Miss Import Showoff", which all was exciting.

Do you have any future goals for modeling?
I want to get more into fashion oriented stuff. We'll see how far it takes me.

Tell us about where you grew up.
I grew up in a little town, Yorba Linda in Orange County. It's like the third most safest place in the world (haha)! That's where I want to raise my kids.

What kind of girl were you in high school?
I wasn't into sports or anything. I was more into art. I was a 4.0 student, but I wasn't a nerd or anything!

What do you do in your spare time?
As of now, I have NO spare time! But if I did, I would paint or fill the empty walls of my house! I also go out with my friends and go clubbing.

Do you party a lot?
Not as hard I was when I was younger. Now, it's calm down a bit.

Do you have any pets?
Yes I do. I have a cat and his name is JuJu Bee, he's my baby! He's evil, but I still love him.

I love comedy, so I would say Jim Carrey and Mike Meyers. For women, it would be Catherine Zeta Jones. She's so beautiful.

I love sushi.

What got you started in modeling?
I went to a modeling school because I was so shy and awkward while becoming a teenager that the family thought it would help me gain poise and confidence. But then I became interested in modeling from that. I was reading Seventeen Magazine and YM in those days and just got really into the idea of modeling. I mostly started modeling when I turned 18 and in college I did a little bit, but after college it when it took off.

After modeling what's next for you?
TV Commercials and Show Hosting, Travel, Photography, Real Estate, starting a family.

What do you think is the most important part of a photoshoot.
The lighting first, and then the makeup. If that is not good, even the most gorgeous model will look horrible.

Has a fan ever asked for more than an autograph? Describe:
Of course, with all the "unique" people out there... I get emails from wealthy men who want to fly me here and there, pay me tons of cash, buy me presents, sign me up for to be a call girl, take me shopping, suck my toes, whatever you can imagine! My favorite are those "casting directors". Pah-Leez, I am NOT new here! Anyway, I have never ever taken advantage of these offers. My sanity is more important than money!

Does being a model help or hurt your dating life? Explain:
Honestly, I never really date. I have had long term relationships. Of my three relationships, only one really supported me and was stoked to see me in magazines and tried to hook me up with more modeling jobs. Overall I bet it hurts most model's dating lives, even if they are completely professional at work and loyal to their mate. Men may be more insecure than women. Just my opinion, but remember confidence NOT arrogance is extremely sexy! Be proud of your girl!

Describe yourself in one word... explain:
COMPLEX. That is why I cannot even explain it.

What do you look for in guys, clothes, attitude, looks, money, cars etc.
I love guys in great shape. Not huge body builders, but the healthy "surfer" or "swimmer" body types, for example. Great eyes, teeth, and smile are important too. Confidence but also sensitivity. Intelligent, motivated, young at heart, and has similar interests as me! Obviously, I am a woman who KNOWS EXACTLY what I want!

Describe a night out with the girls.
You may not believe me, but when I go out with the girls it is NOT about meeting guys. I love to go out, get a buzz, dance, mingle with people we know, and end up laughing so much. "Stupid Drunk Girls" can only be that way around each other. It is annoying to others, especially guys so we don't like to involve them in our delirium anyway. Unless they are entertained by it.

What does your boyfriend know (significant other) that we don't?

What was your first sexual experience?
With a boyfriend that I had been together with for a while. It was not as good as I heard it was suppose to be. But nowadays... uh huh!
